This is  bi-partisan issue that united, American citizens can fix. Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and Non-Partisan affiliates. This has affected EVERY citizen in this county.

Do you trust the main stream media to tell you the truth?

I can assume that the answer is no. However, Americans still discuss, post, retweet, and speak about the content produced by media outlets. We are forming our opinions from publications somewhere, more frequently than personal accounts and eye witness testimony.

How must we feel if we have been lied to, manipulated, and encouraged to believe lies which have caused damages which are financial, emotional, physical, and in some cases, death? What if the corporate owner knew they were profiting from disinformation and proceeded? Americans demand accountability.

This petition aims to gain representation for torte or class action measures, to be implemented, in order to bankrupt entities who practice in the dissemination of false information to further agendas, undisclosed to its clients. This petition represents ANY American citizen who has been affected emotionally, physically, financially, or other by means due to misinformation propagated by major media corporations.

SIGN THIS PETITION in order to tell major news media and social media that Americans WILL NOT put up with disinformation used to spread untruths and to further individual ideologies of a few billionaires.

Individual corporations, funding misinformation and persuasion campaigns, have cost the American public its freedom, small businesses, personal and family relationships and trust that American citizens, inalienable rights are still intact.

The misinformation campaign has crippled the unity of the American public, and has fueled flames in our streets and discourse in our homes.

IF ANY NEWS ORGANIZATION PERMITS FALSE INTERPRETATION OF FACT, THEY WILL ANSWER TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

Recently, Fox News 26 director Susan Schiller explained to news anchor, Ivory Hecker, the reason she was gag ordered away from reporting about hydroxychloroquine was due to the fact that the news “was not about the American people, it’s about the CEO and their directive” Ivory proclaimed the importance of sharing with Americans, what physicians had been reporting, is a treatment that works. Why keep treatments from the public that could potentially save lives? Some theories claim that with a current treatment for COVID 19, emergency use of the vaccine wouldn’t be authorized.

The effectiveness of hydroxychloriquine is wide spread knowledge now, for example doctor Vladimir Zelenko, who became known for using hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19, has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for their role in addressing the coronavirus pandemic. If this were reported upon discovery, would patients placed on ventilators and experienced complications have been saved the horror?

This is the one recent example of disinformation campaigns and an example of the imminent dangers that come with keeping consumers in the dark. Who among us has the rights to information that impacts our personal lives? Don’t we all?

Americans are tired of half truths, meant to persuade them for financial and political reasons, and we are helpless victims if ALL major media sites work in unison to perpetuate untruths.

Major media working with dominant search engines like google leave a majority of working Americans in the dark, and unable to make educated decisions regarding their families and their futures. in today’s information age, there is no reason for massive amounts of confusion among the American public as to what is right, and what is wrong. 

We the people have great stock in the future of this county. Will we simply believe the individual with deep pockets is the truth? Currently, that’s pretty much, our only choice.

WE WANT TO TRUTH. WE DESERVE THE TRUTH. WE DEMAND HIGHER STANDARDS IN JOURNALISM NOW.
