Ms Glover, As I write this, the petition calling for the removal of Bottomley, Gibb and Loughton has now amassed 3,128 supporters, and there are numerous calls from the public for a number of charities to distance themselves from individuals that show no regard for their service users. We have seen at least one of these callous MPs ousted and at least three others on the verge of removal. I know that you have made a statement claiming that this matter will be addressed in April, however I feel that this is not soon enough, and this feeling is shared by many of the people supporting the petition. Can I ask if your Vice-Presidents have been contacted by yourself to allow them to do the honourable thing and resign or justify their reasons for refusing to do so? If they have not, surely this would be a reasonable expectation and should be at least considered by you as this is in the best interests of your organisation. I also feel that their responses should also be published in order to maintain a fair and transparent process to take place. You state in your press release, that you will discuss this at a meeting in April. Can I ask when this meeting is due to occur and where it is to be held? Can I also ask if this meeting is to be open to the public or if it is to held in secret? At this meeting, will the Vice Presidents be permitted to vote on their own positions, or will it be decided by others, without their involvement, and if so, who will be given the final decision, should they refuse to do the right thing? I personally would prefer that you call an emergency board meeting in order to put this matter to bed as soon as is practicable, as these individuals are casting a dark shadow over the good work that your organisation does in the community.
