According to sources within the coalition of area Rotaries and Kinsmen attempting to reopen, restore, and operate Wilderness Discovery, talks are ongoing. I have been told that MPP Bill Mauro has said that he is very positive that we will soon have a deal that we could work with. PLEASE hold him to it! We don't need any more false hopes. bmauro.mpp.co@liberal.ola.org minister.mma@ontario.ca It is critical to contact the Minister Of Infrastructure, Bob Chiarelli, as well. He holds the fate of the lease in his hands. We want one dollar per year, every year. #OneDollarBob bchiarelli.mpp.co@liberal.ola.org ALSO... There are possibilities of some financial assistance from the federal and provincial governments that could help expedite the project when it's given the green light. Many of you have asked about fundraising throughout our campaign. After we have received the available funding, THEN we can begin to raise funds in other ways to make everyone's Wilderness Discovery experience among the greatest of their lifetimes. It is incumbent upon Bill Mauro and Bob Chiarelli to finalize this arrangement quickly. We have been fighting since January 2015 and deserve the solution that we have petitioned for. Fast action will help the prospects of a 2017 season for our disabled loved ones. We might be eyeing the FINISH LINE! Step on the gas! You have fought so long and so well.
