This is important because millions of animals are abused daily. This petition started from a school project about milk. For example, when cows are abused it not just hurts the animals, it has a huge effect on people. People are not realizing that when cows are abused the milk that they create is of "low" quality and that is not not how milk should be. When cows are injected with "rBGH" a genetically modified hormone to make sure cows produce a large amount of milk it is not only affecting the cows but it is also entering the human body and it is now inside people like you and I. What is not acceptable is that the United States and Canada currently allows dairy cows to be injected with this "hormone". This is what this petition is about. There have been many groups of people that are trying to stop this abuse towards animals.  I believe that we need to take a stand to something that is not right and not give in to the the abusive "power" the United States and Canada can use towards making their money.

I think that if enough people can find this petition, agree and sign it, then the government may make a decision and change the law we as people live by. Lets make John Tory and Kathleen Wynn bring this to council and make this a issue to think of!

I started this petition to make a change and one small step at a time animal abuse will change. I have taken my small step and stopped drinking cow milk. Why don't you take a stand and sign this petition to show you agree to end animal abuse.
