Petition updatePaul Edmondson: Writers are Entitled to ALL Earnings, Removal of Content & Author ContentOur Charities No Longer Receive Their Money (HubPages Keeps It ALL)

Most of Squidoo's former writers donated all or a portion of their earnings to various charities. Squidoo set this up automatically so that our charities were paid directly (we didn't need to do anything).
HubPages does not donate to any charity (that I am aware of). No surprise.
Six weeks ago, I read this HubPages forum post by eduguy1: "I used to make a lot of lenses on Squidoo and ended up making about 14 dollars for charity. Now I'm on HubPages and there seems to be no way I can choose to donate the money, or even collect the money without submitting tax information. Why is it like this? Is there a way to make the money without submitting tax info. I'm in Canada, if that matters." Source: http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/133408
Once again, this is proof that HubPages will not pay anyone until they submit tax information. And, apparently, one Canadian writer even photocopied her passport and sent it to HubPages.
The IRS determined that HubPages does NOT need tax information. And what HubPages is doing is downright dangerous – amassing a "hot address data base." Accidental loss of data and security breaches are far too common these days.
I am appealing to each of the 12 charities that used to benefit from my Squidoo lenses (articles). I am hoping (no, I'm praying) that they will sign our petition and pass it around to others in their circles.
Perhaps some of you will be able to do the same? We now stand at 21 supporters.
Take good care,
Rose
