2017 marks the eightieth anniversary of IBM in the Philippines. To celebrate their 80 years of progress in the Philippines, the company launched the Eighty Reasons to Serve campaign to provide IBMers with volunteering activities that further promote IBM's corporate purpose to be essential to the communities they serve. One of the activities under this campaign is the World Community Grid - Smash Childhood Cancer Charity Run held today 30 July 2017 (Sunday), at the McKinley West, Taguig City. Aside from running for charity, IBMers also signed up to petition Congress to pass an Integrated Cancer Control Act. Maraming maraming salamat IBM! And Happy 80th Anniversary!
