Cottage UPDATE: 6/27/23

Good afternoon, Friends,

Thank you for your continued support, prayers and encouragement as we seek to keep our family's beloved cottage.  We wanted to share an update from last week's court hearing so that you are in the know.

We went to court last week, June 21st, where our attorney presented much evidence in our favor and reiterated that Kalamazoo County and Prairie View Park have NO need for our property.  The judge decided to look further at the evidence, and he will make his decision in 45 days or fewer.

So, we wait.  We wait for the judge to share his decision.  But ultimately, we wait on the Lord; this situation has been and continues to be in His hands.  We covet your prayers for the judge to have great wisdom and to see the truth in this situation and then rule accordingly.  As we've always asked, please pray that truth and justice would rule and that lies would be exposed.  

We will keep you updated when we have more news to share.  In the meantime, please share the petition so that our updates and fight can reach as many people in Kalamazoo as possible.  And, please continue to pray.  May the Lord be glorified through this situation!
