Just received a petition which is created by David Morrish to ban HUAWEI. I am strongly against that. The reason is very simple, Canada is a fair and justice country, Government shall not take any action to ban a company in lacking of the evidence. I understand it's not wise that Chinese chairman XI to take the aggressive diplomatic policy on the detaining of Meng Wanzhou, Chinese Government shall try to stay away from the telecom company and leave this matter to HUAWEI itself to deal. But what we can do is creating a justice and freedom marketing in the country, this is the core value of Canada, this is the key difference of Canada and other countries. If Government is able to find any evidence to proof HUAWEI has any espionage action in the country then we support to ban it, otherwise Government shall try to take more investigation before making any decision.
