With climate change playing a huge role in the threat against seal population --- do you believe that Canada's Government is actively playing the same role since they refuse to abandon their efforts to keep the commercial seal hunt going --- increasing quotas on seals hunted even though the markets are collapsing, and bans/prohibits from major trading partners have been placed, providing tens of millions of dollars in tax-payers money for subsidies in order to keep this dying industry going and putting the sense of unrealistic expectations to parties involved that things are going to change.... We as a civilized society must continue to raise our paws and voices in order to protect and save innocent life -- not only urging the Government to use their political power and leadership to finally back away from this industry that is causing threat, but to also pressure them with our unity to make the stand and finally bring the Canada Commercial Seal Hunt to an end. Together We Can Make A Difference -- But We Have to Make The Choice To Be A Voice.
