BIGAN HAS BEEN RELEASED!

Dear supporters - this morning we received the joyful news that Bigan was released and is now home with his family.   We do not believe this is a coincidence and thank God for watching over this family and for this positive outcome!   We also thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting this petition as the influence of social media is one element we believe helped influence the Turkish authorities to back down from deporting Bigan to Iran.  

Our work is not done however as the situation for Iranian refugees in Turkey is still not safe and remains uncertain and deportations to Iran are continuing to occur.    We hope you will continue to support this cause in any way you can - if possible by continuing to share this Petition.      We will also shortly be setting up our appeal to raise funds to sponsor Bigan and his family to Canada and would be grateful for any support you can offer, no matter the amount.    Please watch for more information coming soon and e-mail me at contrareed@shaw.ca if you would like more information.
