URGENT - LEGAL APPEAL DENIED - PLEASE HELP STOP DEPORTATION
Tragically, a second legal appeal of deportation to Iran was rejected by the Turkish Authorities and Bigan and his family need your help now more than ever before!
Here is a message received from his wife Marzieh:
Hello all my brothers and sisters in Christ.
I am MARZIEH RAHEMI , Wife of Bro. SEYEDBIGAN FAROKHPOORHAGHIGHI.
As you know my husband was arrested by Turkish authorities and taken to refugees camp. He is in subject to deport to Iran. We are informed his legal appeal rejected recently. His objections has been rejected several times.
My husband's situation is so serious and he is in danger of deporting and our life situation is very difficult.
If they deport him to Iran his life and freedom will be in serious danger. Me and my son are caring very bad times , actually we need our husband`s presence.My son has a specific physically bad situation.
I request you all my Brothers and sisters , from the bottom of my heart , to help us to exit from Turkey and live in safe country. Please share my issue with others.
Their son, Mohammad Hassan is now 17 and has a severe physical and mental disability and needs 24 hour care. Bigan's fate in Iran is at best to serve several more years in prison if he survives there. Currently, the Turkish authorities are compelling deportees to acknowledge their deportation by documents drawn only in Turkish which they do not understand.
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
1. Please pray earnestly that God will grant relief from the deportation and bring safety to the family.
2. Please share the original petition with whoever you know and if possible, spend a bit to promote the Petition on Change.org This will greatly magnify the number of possible signatories
3. Canadians, please write your MP to bring attention to the inhumane deportation of Iranian Refugees in Turkey, specifically, Seyedbigan Farokhpoorhaghegi, who is now being held at the Antalya refugee camp. This deportation, particularly if documents are only provided in Turkish is likely a breach of international law.

4. Please consider contributing to a campaign to be set up (private "Group of 5 private sponsorship I am currently researching and aiming to finalize soon) to sponsor this family to Canada. Please e-mail me at contrareed@shaw.ca and I will send you the campaign information as soon as this is available. The cost is expected to be approximately $50,000.00 Canadian dollars and support of any amount will be greatly appreciated. Funds may also be used to send the family emergency support as they currently have no financial means and Marzieh is the only caregiver. Every penny helps and thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
