Apply for the Canada Emergency Response Benefit

Applications for the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) are now open. The CERB:

� Will provide urgently needed financial support to employed and self-employed Canadians who have stopped or will stop working due to reasons related to COVID-19.
� Will provide a payment of $2,000 for a 4 week period (equivalent to $500 a week) for up to 16 weeks.
� Has specific days for you to apply based on your birth month.
