URGENT! The House of Commons Fisheries and Oceans Committee is meeting in a few hours to discuss a report about closing the Comox Station. It’s our chance to make sure our voices are heard at the right moment, just as they are thinking about the future of Comox Station. Right now, we need to tell the Committee Chair, Liberal Scott Simms, that over 14,000 of us and counting think they must keep Comox open. We need Hunter TooToo, the Minister responsible for the Coast Guard, to hear our message as well, along with Liberal Ministers and MPs we elected in B.C. partly because they campaigned on reversing the recent cuts to Coast Guard facilities.
