Problem
I bring you this petition to ban single-use plastics. Plastic pollution is a big problem that is only going to get worse. Plastic is a very durable material that cannot and will not biodegrade. Instead, it breaks into smaller and smaller pieces, making it that much harder to clean up, let alone even tell it is there.

Solution
Come up with alternatives to reuse and recycle plastic (example: sterilize, melt and reshape).

*I am not seeking donations, this is not for personal gain, but for awareness of this issue. 

Personal story
I am an 11-year old boy from Ontario and am horrified to learn what plastic is doing to the earth. When I learned about a school project for an action plan to help the environment, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to make a difference.
