El pueblo salvadoreño, Rubén y su familia, la diáspora y la comunidad internacional, hemos logrado un gran triunfo contra un gobierno que no respeta la ley y que considera estar por encima de la misma.
Después de un mes de denuncias nacionales e internacionales por la persecución política y orden de detención en contra del Dr. Zamora, emitida injustificadamente por la juez Mirtala Portillo de Cruz, esta se ha retractado declarando su excarcelamiento, a petición de la Fiscalía General de la República.
En el juicio contra el Dr. Zamora, la juez ha violado principios constitucionales como, violación a los derechos individuales, principio de legalidad, principio de la dignidad humana, entre otros. Además, ha cometido falsedad material, falsedad ideológica, falsedad documental agravada, fraude procesal y prevaricato. La juez ha ignorado el artículo 125 de la Constitución Salvadoreña que expresa: “Que los diputados representan al pueblo entero… y no tendrán responsabilidad en tiempo alguno por las opiniones o votos que emitan”.
A pesar de estar anulada la orden de captura, el proceso judicial contra el Dr. Zamora continua. ES IMPORTANTE PROFUNDIZAR LOS ESFUERZOS PARA LOGRAR UNA JUSTICIA PLENA PARA EL DR. RUBÉN ZAMORA.
En conferencia de prensa dada el 1 de enero de 2024, Rubén, en cuanto los intentos del gobierno de Bukele de callar y provocar que Rubén salga del país, este manifestó: "YO NO VOY A SALIR DEL PAÍS, VOY A SEGUIR EN ESTE PAÍS LUCHANDO POR LA DEMOCRACIA, POR EL RESPETO A LA HUMANIDAD".
