On February 20th, the counsel of the accused stated they were not ready to proceed with the matter and requested time to write to the ODPP in that regard. The prosecutor did not oppose the adjournment but counsels of Sheila's family opposed adjournment and plea bargain. The matter is to be heard on May 9th and 10th 2023.
