1845 & Counting

I have good news and unfortunately I welcome more families to the "club" that none of us ever asked to join, we were "initiated" into this "club" by the murderers of our loved ones. I want to mention AnneMarie Griffin, whose granddaughter's father was murdered, Omar's killer didn't receive the max, he got 15 yrs instead of 30. I want to mention Donna Bryan whose daughter's killer wasn't even prosecuted, both of those crimes took place in Fla. There have been several others who when writing a comment mention their own tragedy, I don't know those people yet, I hope they reach out to me. There is the Licari family, awaiting word of their 14 yr old daughter & sister's killers parole hearing, our hearts are with them as they await & we hope like hell they get the news he is held back another 24 mos. We do have good news for the Zampino family's killer, they found out late this afternoon that he was denied and he won't be seen again until 3/2018. However the Victim's "advocate" wasn't calling the Zampino family, they kept being told, check the website, really? That is how we, the loved ones of the VICTIMS, should find out? People, this is a drop in the bucket of what I have learned of our "justice" system in the past week, I've never been a victim's advocate, it just wasn't my "thing", of course I felt for ALL the families but I never got involved before. Well I am INVOLVED now and I swear to you, regardless of our outcome, I am going to FIGHT like hell, LEGALLY, to right the wrongs being done to the families of victims, they are re-victimizing us over & over. Help me help them and also help me help the future members of our "club" and I hope to hell NONE of you is ever initiated into it, but chances are damn good at least 10% of you reading this will experience this horror in the future, somewhere in your family or social circle. I'm as liberal as the next person but this has gone way too far, we now bend over backwards to appease & mollycoddle the murderers, rapists & violent felons. Is THIS the America you want to live in, let us all make our voices heard, we ARE mad as hell and we are NOT going to take it anymore, don't do the crime if you can't do the time. Take a life sacrifice yours, if not via death penalty then by life without possibility of parole. If you're reading this you have signed but have you shared this with YOUR friends & family? A petition by prisoner's for early releases garnered 2200 & change signatures, well short of the 10K required by Gov. Cuomo for consideration, yet he GRANTED their request and formed , in 2013, a program that assists murderers & violent felons in securing their release, on OUR tax dime BTW, yet I am being told Gov. Cuomo won't even SEE this petition or hear of it unless I get 10K signatures, we're almost at 1850, it isn't going to happen, unless we step it up.
