Justice is Due: Justice for Atul Subhash

The Issue

Atul Subhash, a 34-year-old software engineer from Bengaluru, tragically ended his life on December 9, 2024. In his 24-page suicide note and an 80-minute video, he accused his estranged wife, Nikita Singhania, and her family of harassment, extortion, and misusing legal cases to demand large sums of money. Despite paying Rs 40,000 monthly for child support, he claimed his wife demanded Rs 2 lakh per month and Rs 3 crore to settle false cases.

Atul also spoke about his struggles with the legal system, including a judge mocking his situation. His tragic death has sparked public outrage, with many calling for justice and reforms to protect individuals from legal misuse and gender bias.

We are not asking for laws that favor men. We are asking for gender-neutral laws—laws that judge actions and circumstances, not gender.

We urge the authorities to conduct a fair and thorough investigation, hold those responsible accountable, and ensure such tragedies are prevented in the future.

Sign this petition to demand #JusticeForAtulSubhash. Together, let’s stand for accountability, fairness, and justice.
