On Monday September 25, 2023 our service dog Zeus was intentionally hit and killed by man driving a white mustang! It shows on video that he had been to the store my father in law works at and knew my dog was there and he had been to the store multiple times that same day to buy cases of beer with two other passengers. To clearify my father in law normally takes both dogs with him everyday to work and they have a spot in front of the store that they hang out at and are on a runner at. Everyone that comes to that store knows the dogs very well and absolutely loves them! They are great with people and don't bother anyone! The guy that intentionally ran over our 6 month old American pocket bully lives in the area and is a regular in the store so he absolutely knew that Zeus was there.. after hitting our sweet baby he then fled the scene and went home, me and my husband went to the man personally and tried to get answers as to why he would purposely harm our dog and leave him there to die. The man then said he knew he did it and pulled a gun on my husband and took off on foot! We have made a report with the animal shelter and Chattanooga police department, so far nothing has been done. Help us get justice for Zeus! This man shouldn't be allowed to harm an innocent animal and get away with it. It is important that we insure no other animals in our community get harmed by this man!
