"This is the issue, there’s so many organisations non get enough backing to make a difference instead of all coming together on it. We need more support in the community when re-settling. There needs to be more for the women once they’ve left than what is. You basically get shoved in a room with your kids and what few belongings you’ve managed to bring which for most of us is nothing. It’s not just the having to leave which is unfair but the actual leaving and the trying to resettle in a completely strange place with nothing and no one is absolutely shocking too the system"
