Positive Developments in the Case:

• Supreme Court Intervention: The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India took suo motu cognisance of Twisha Sharma’s case and heard the matter.
• CBI Probe Ordered: The Supreme Court has directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to take over the case for a fair, impartial, and independent investigation.
• Second Post-Mortem Completed: A fresh post-mortem by a team from AIIMS Delhi was conducted, addressing key concerns raised by the family.
• Last Rites Performed: Twisha was laid to rest on 24 May 2026 at Bhadbhada Vishram Ghat, Bhopal, after 12 days. May her soul rest in eternal peace. Om Shanti  🙏
