Justice for TikTok stars Odin, Raffie, and Pickles!
The Issue
In late 2025, a deeply tragic incident unfolded at a dog daycare facility involving three beloved social media influencer dogs: Pickles, Odin, and Raffie (famously known as "Mr. One Toof" due to his endearing single tooth). All dogs were intact males. These dogs, adored by thousands and owned by TikTok creator Maren Peeters ("bundleofbullies"), were more than just pets; they were family. On Christmas Eve, a day meant for joy, heartbreak ensued.
Raffie succumbed to a heart attack resulting in an unexpected attack from Pickles—his fellow companion. In an act of loyalty and bravery, Odin, Raffie's best friend and protector, intervened, but the ordeal was far from over. Inexplicably, Pickles was quickly subjected to "behaviour euthanasia," a decision made abruptly after an incident at an unfamiliar daycare setting. It's heartbreaking to reflect that one dog died from a heart attack, another from bite injuries, and the last from what was deemed a behavioural issue. Keno's Sanctuary, a permanent refuge for animals with disabilities and/or behaviour conditions, condemned the actions taken. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/19niyr7y4f/
What happened with Pickles should have been met with compassion and understanding. Behavioural euthanasia is an extreme measure, often taken without exploring other humane options. With proper regulation and alternatives, such incidents could be managed differently, ensuring a second chance for these animals at rehabilitation centers or sanctuaries.

Countless families entrust their pets to daycare facilities, expecting a safe environment. Yet, with current lack of regulation, incidents like these can occur, leaving families shattered. Implementing national regulations for dog daycares and championing non-lethal behavioral correction methods like rehabilitation and sanctuary placements is crucial. Intact dogs should never be allowed in a dog daycare. We owe it to the innocent lives lost—Pickles, Odin, and Raffie—to ensure this tragedy is never repeated.
By signing this petition, you support the call for regulatory measures for dog daycare facilities and for re-evaluating the practice of behavioural euthanasia in favour of non-lethal alternatives. Let us honour the memory of these loved companions by seeking change and ensuring all dogs have a chance at a life of care and respect.
