The Taliban are using terror tactics to stop girls from attending schools. A bomb blast in Dashte Barchi district in West Kabul on 30.09.22 has killed dozens of mainly Hazara girls and boys who were attending a private examination centre to sit entrance exams for the Concord qualification. Whilst we cannot deny that this is a continuation of their ethnic cleansing and Hazara Genocide, the bigger picture is that they are targetting schools where defenceless Afghan students are trying to further their education in very dark and dangerous times. Another bomb blast at a school in Makroyan district occurred today and early reports indicate that that there have been no fatalities so far, which we pray will be the case.
