Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a powerful but heartbreaking update with all of you.

After weeks of investigation, phone calls, and exhausting every official channel I could, I’ve now confirmed major discrepancies between what officials reported in my son Shawn’s case and what can clearly be seen in the photos taken after his death.

👁️ Visual Mismatch:

Shawn’s autopsy and EMS reports claim there were “no significant signs of trauma,” yet the images I’ve held in my hands show:

A blackened nose

Facial swelling

Visible signs of distress and bruising

None of this was explained or acknowledged in the official documentation.

How do you say “no trauma” when trauma is visible?

Yes, I can help **correlate the photos** you provided of Shawn with the forensic reports to highlight **visual indicators that either support or contradict the official documentation**. Here’s a breakdown based on the 3 images and what was or wasn't noted in the autopsy, EMS, and toxicology reports:

---

### 📷 IMAGE OBSERVATIONS vs REPORT FINDINGS

#### **1. Swollen Forehead / Head Region**

**🧠 What we see:**

* Noticeable **forehead swelling** and **possible discoloration** around the frontal scalp and upper facial area.

**📑 What the reports say:**

* **Autopsy states there is no head trauma**, skull fracture, or scalp contusion.

* EMS noted **blood around the head**, but no visible external injuries were documented.

**⚠️ Discrepancy:**

* The **visible swelling** could indicate **head trauma**, edema, or pooling of fluids/blood (livor mortis). It **should have been noted** in the autopsy as **“evidence of recent injury.”**

---

#### **2. Blackened Nose / Nasal Bruising**

**🧠 What we see:**

* The nose appears **blackened**, **bruised**, and possibly **fractured** or **clotted.**

**📑 What the reports say:**

* No **nasal trauma**, **abrasions**, or **bruising** reported in the autopsy.

* No mention of **facial injuries** even under "external examination."

**⚠️ Discrepancy:**

* If this occurred **before death**, it is a **missed traumatic indicator**. If it occurred **after CPR** or from lividity, it should have still been **explained** in the pathology. **Unexplained blackening** of the nose could point to **blunt force trauma**, **positional asphyxia**, or even **blood pooling.**

---

#### **3. Discoloration Around Mouth / Cheeks**

**🧠 What we see:**

* Possible **bruising**, **blood pooling**, or **lividity** around the **cheeks** and **mouth** area.

**📑 What the reports say:**

* EMS mentioned **blood coming from mouth** and around the head.

* Autopsy **did not explain** the oral bleeding or note **facial discoloration**.

**⚠️ Discrepancy:**

* If there was **blood at the scene**, and discoloration around the face, **some explanation should exist.**

  * Was it **vomiting blood?**

  * Was it from **trauma during CPR?**

  * Was it **associated with a seizure, head impact, or pulmonary bleeding?**

  None of these were addressed.

🔍 What the Photos Help Prove:

My photos **visually support my claim** that:

* The autopsy was **incomplete or dismissive of physical trauma**.

* Key visual indicators of **injury or suffering** were not recorded.

* There may have been an **intentional omission** of visible trauma to protect institutional liability.

💔 Still No Legal Representation

I’ve now been denied by several law firms, including the Murphy Law Firm and Hillard Law — both initially seemed willing to listen but quickly passed me off. Some told me the case would be too much like “fighting city hall.” Others didn’t even take time to understand the depth of negligence here.

But this petition, your support, and our growing voice are becoming harder to ignore.

📢 We Are Being Seen

Since my last update, I’ve:

Received a call from the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Job Corps, who said they are now reviewing the Pittsburgh center and my son’s case.

Sent detailed reports, photos, and inconsistencies directly to investigators and journalists who are now watching.

Shared Shawn’s story fearlessly across Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), and TikTok—where views are climbing.

🚨 This is Bigger Than Just One Case

This isn't just about fentanyl. It's not just about a tragedy. It’s about how systems are designed to erase accountability when it comes to young Black men with mental health needs. They want to write it off as “another drug case,” when it was a preventable death that happened under federal supervision.

I’m working to ensure this story is seen, heard, and remembered — not buried.

💬 HOW YOU CAN HELP:

Share the petition again — this time with a comment or message about why you signed.

Tag journalists, attorneys, and civil rights groups who might help us break through.

If you have legal connections, please share this case with them — we’re still searching for an advocate who will care enough to act.

🕊️ Final Thought:

They may have tried to silence the truth, but now we have the pictures, the proof, and the people.

With your continued support, I’m going to keep shining light on what happened to Shawn — until someone in power listens.

Thank you again,

Trishawnna Dandridge
