Hey everyone,
I wanted to give a quick update. I’ve been using my Tiktok Page https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT6Nnjwhg/ to post ongoing videos and updates about my son Shawn’s case and everything we’re uncovering about the system that failed him. If you're not connected to my social media, this is a way you can see things as they unfold in real time.
Also, just yesterday, former President Donald Trump signed what they’re calling a “Fentanyl Act” in response to the growing crisis.

While some people may see this as a big move — I want to be honest with you. I’m not jumping to celebrate just yet.
Let me explain why.
From the very first day my son died, Pennsylvania officials tried to say it was fentanyl. They blamed Baltimore. They claimed he bought pills here. But there was no proof, no trail, no real accountability — just a narrative that tried to shift blame and avoid deeper questions about what happened inside the Job Corps program.
Then recently — 25 people overdosed on fentanyl on Pennsylvania Ave in Baltimore. And suddenly — this Act is signed.
It raises serious questions for me. Are these stories being used to push a national policy that ignores who’s really responsible when vulnerable people like my son die in institutions that are supposed to protect them?
All I know is: I’m still getting rejected by agency after agency while trying to get justice for Shawn. But this new law? It sailed through.
So I’m staying focused. I’ll keep speaking, keep sharing updates, and I’ll keep fighting.
Please share the petition, watch the TikToks, and continue standing with me. The more people we bring into this movement, the harder it will be for them to silence the truth.
With strength and fire,
Trishawnna Dandridge
