I just wanted to add an update to the petition.
So far everything has been not so great! Over the past 5 months I have literally been trying my best to hold it together. Back on April 3rd they took my rights from my kids on no grounds to do so.
The opposing party constantly repeated the statement of me being on drugs so while I was only the witness stand I looked at the judge and requested a 5min recess he asked me why and I told him that I still had every single urine drug test cup ever given to me by DHS in a ziplock bag in my car just waiting for this day to come. I knew that they would try and say I was on drugs when clearly I was not. So the opposing party was blindsided by this request and didn't think I was going to be able to back up what I was saying. So I ran to my car to get those drug tests amd everyone in the court rooms mouths literally dropped and the look on the judges face was priceless. I wish that would have helped me in this situation but the opposing party then stated that she had recent contact with my kids and test they had requested for me to not gain custody of of them. So me trying to prove that was all lies was next to impossible as my kids were not present for that hearing to say otherwise. Ultimately I lost my rights anyways.
A week later I found out that the caseworker was arrested on charges for hiding her own son out had just committed murder x2 back on December 30. So they both ended up in jail.
I recently researched the caseworkers information on court connect to see any latest updates and unfortunately some how she was able to get all of her records removed or seal from viewing. It's unfortunate that she so far has gotten away with all of this abuse sweep it under the rug along with hindering apprehension charges with her murderous child.
It's truly tragic that two young boys lost their lives at the hands of her own son and then she helped hide him out from the law.
Now after everything I have filed the appeal and have been waiting for 5months now to hear regarding the appeal latest updates. I will keep you all updated as well.
