Per change.org stats, it usually takes 2-3 weeks for a petition to garner 100 signatures. We’ve gotten 300+ in five days! I’m so grateful to everyone who is signing and sharing this petition. 

We need 5,000-10,000 signatures (primarily from Florida) to make a real impact on our legislators in Tallahasse. 

I still have many groups, agencies, and media across the state whom I need to contact. yet it’s the grassroots efforts, primarily on social media like Facebook and Nextdoor that is taking off.
