UPDATE* we lost. Bindy and crystal said and i quote, “i dont care how many signatures you get you are not speaking”, most unfair bs ever, thank you all for your support god bless. Principal hawthorne and Crystal Shaw think they have the right to overturn a vote because they dont like the outcome. Just because I, Noah Watkins, have had a questionable past does not mean the future has to be questionable as well. Just because past students messed up does not mean future students will, and I deserve the speech as much or more than anybody else, as i wont the vote. Why should they get the chance to change the outcome of the vote just because they dont like me? That is a question that all who sign this petition must ask. This petition not only helps the small town of springfield vermont, but also helps the earth and its inhabitants as a whole, as if a small groups voting rights are infringed, all voting rights are infringed, as voting for one is voting for all. When the declaration of independence was signed, the founding fathers did not mean for votes that are not global or worldwide are free to be overturned because the results are not favorable to those who held the vote, but they meant that a person or peoples who have the power to vote, can be as strong as the person they are voting for, and the person(s) who are counting the ballots.
