“Mama, I love you.”
These were Neil’s words after spending just 90 minutes with his mother — after nearly a month of total separation. He cried in the car, made a heart with his hands, and the social worker took this photo.
Neil is not allowed to live with or speak freely to his mother, brother, sister, friends or anyone from his maternal family. He is punished every time he expresses love or connection. He is forced to live in silence.
His grief is visible. His pain is ongoing.
This is not protection.
This is cruelty.
This is child apartheid.
Please share and help Neil fight for Neil’s right to speak, to love, and to go home.
