Neil had just come back from church. We sat together chatting, watching videos and photos, and sharing a peaceful moment. He held onto me and rested quietly against my side. I took this photo in the mirror — not for posting online, but to capture a feeling of warmth, comfort, and love.

That peace is gone now.

Since March 2023, Neil has been forcibly separated from his mother, his brother, his sister, his friends, and his cultural roots. He is no longer allowed to speak Mandarin, attend church, or express love freely without fear. His emotional and spiritual safety have been stripped away — and this is what we are fighting to restore.

那天，Neil 剛從教堂回來，我們坐在一起閒聊，看著影片和相片。那是一個平靜而溫暖的時刻。他緊緊依偎著我，我輕輕地拍下這張鏡中的照片——不是為了放上網，而是為了永遠記住這份寧靜與愛。

但這份平靜，已經消失了。

自從 2023年3月，Neil 成了被種族隔離迫害的最大受害者，被強行從母親、哥哥、姊姊、朋友和他的文化中隔離。他再也不能說中文、不能去教會、不能自由地表達愛，因為他被灌輸了害怕。
他的情感與信仰的安全感已被徹底剝奪——而我們所做的一切，就是為了把它找回來。
