We, the undersigned, are demanding justice for Myron Meyers, a beloved father, son, brother, and partner, whose life was tragically taken on March 14, 2025. Myron was shot in the face while attempting to assist someone in a dangerous situation at the American Legion on Main Street, Hartford, CT. He was a protector, a loving figure in his community, and a devoted father to three beautiful children. His tragic death has left a hole in the hearts of all who knew him.

Despite the fact that the Hartford Police Department knows the identity of the suspect responsible for this heinous crime, there has been little to no action to bring him to justice. Myron’s death is not just a loss for his family—it is a loss for the entire community. It is a loss that deserves the full attention of law enforcement, and we will not allow Myron’s name to be swept under the rug. We demand that the Hartford Police Department put out a search for the suspect and ensure they are held accountable for taking Myron’s life.

Myron’s family, friends, and loved ones have been left grieving, and the city of Hartford has lost a shining light. We will not let this happen in silence. We will not allow Myron’s story to fade into the background.
