Today we have a brief, exciting update for you all:

1. 25,000 people have now signed, affirming the need for Murdoch University to immediately drop its legal pursuit of whistleblower Gerd Schroeder-Turk. 
   Thank you to everyone who shared the petition widely!
2. Murdoch Uni students led a peaceful demonstration of support and solidarity on campus in Perth yesterday (see headline image). They drew a huge crowd, chanting "Hey up there in the Chancellery, I won't let you think for me!" and "We all stand with Gerd. Whistleblowers must be heard!".

3. We're not stopping!
   Murdoch University still has not even acknowledged the national and international backlash - and if you can believe it - is currently promoting itself as a free-thinking university!
