We were very surprised to learn that on Tuesday, August 23, Mikah Johnson signed a plea deal. He plead guilty to two felony counts of animal torture and one count of misdemeanor domestic violence. Sentencing is Nov. 4. Right now Mikah Johnson is still in Salt Lake County Jail, but he will likely be released soon and will have to wear an ankle monitor. While we are disappointed that one felony and four more misdemeanor counts of animal torture/cruelty were dismissed, we take consolation in that he plead guilty to two felonies.
