Hello Justice for Moose supporters! Mikah Johnson will be in court April 6, 2016, at 2 PM at the Matheson Courthouse, 450 South State Street, Salt Lake City, Utah. The hearing will be on the 4th floor in Room W-43. We will be there with red ribbons for supporters to wear pinned to the left side of their shirts. The hearing will be to discuss if there will be 7 separate trials or 1 trial (all in front of a jury). Having separate trials would be very advantageous to Johnson since the jury would only hear about a single instance of abuse instead of all of the numerous incidents of torture and cruelty that Moose endured. We are hoping the judge denies the defense's motion to sever the charges. If you can't attend and have not already please email a letter asking for the maximum punishment for Johnson to melodys@utcourts.gov, case number 151912221 in the subject line.
