Justice for Maryam Bennett — End False Arrests & Judicial Corruption

My Story

My name is Maryam Bennett — I’m a wife, mother, and community advocate. For more than 12 years, I’ve fought against predatory mortgage fraud, wrongful foreclosure, and government corruption in Forsyth County, Georgia.

When a judge overturned the wrongful foreclosure of our family’s home, instead of justice we were met with retaliation, police brutality, intimidation, and false accusations when we lawfully attempted to have the judgment enforced.

On May 19, 2024, while celebrating my daughters’ graduations, I was brutally assaulted by officers and unlawfully arrested — without being asked a single question.

The charges against me are based on false claims from a group of elected officials who have been harassing me and my family for years.

Because I was attending town hall meetings, filing petitions, posting on social media, and exercising my civil rights, speaking out about the corruption we'd experienced by elected officials  — these officials twisted me exercising my civil rights into “stalking.”

This is not just about me. It is about every family who could be next if we do not stand up to weaponized false accusations and judicial corruption.

💔 The Harm

  • Physical injuries from police brutality.
  • Emotional trauma for me, my husband, and my children.
  • Three months of homelessness.
  • Financial loss from medical bills and legal expenses.
  • Reputational damage that still lingers today.
  • Discrimination & denial of access to justice: despite the overwhelming amount evidence I have that prove I am innocent
  • I’ve been denied protection 5 times while my harassers continue unchecked.

⚖️ Judicial Corruption in Forsyth County
I. Recused judges are still issuing rulings — which are unlawful and grounds for dismissal.
II. Court transcripts altered, with evidence tampered and removed.
III. A judge forcing me to trial immediately after surgery while medicated, then ordering a psychological evaluation instead of acknowledging my impairment.
IV. Officials ignoring clear misconduct, while criminalizing me for posting public records.
V. This is systemic abuse of power. If it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone. Ask James and Lucretia Klucken.

📢 What We Demand
✅ Immediate and full investigation into my false arrest.
✅ Expungement of all false charges.
✅ Accountability for judges, attorneys, officers, and accusers who abused the system.
✅ Protection against malicious false accusations.
✅ Law enforcement training to stop being weaponized in personal vendettas.
✅ Enforcement of my family’s rightful judgment and damages.
