In a shocking and heart-wrenching incident, 52-year-old Madhuben was brutally beaten and assaulted by a mob of nearly 20 women in her society- Satellite Center, Vastrapur, Ahmedabad.

This vicious assault, instigated and pre planned by BJP worker Rutul Desai, was merely because Madhuben was performing a noble act—feeding and protecting the community dogs. Such acts of kindness should be celebrated, not punished with violence.

What is even more disturbing is the response of law enforcement. Despite being present during the incident, police officers stood by and took no action to prevent the attack or to protect Madhuben. Now, more than 48 hours have passed, and the authorities have shockingly failed to file any First Information Report (FIR) or arrest the culprits involved in this heinous crime. 

This petition calls for immediate and decisive action. We demand the prompt arrest of all individuals who participated in this attack. The law must deal with them swiftly and harshly to serve as a deterrent against future acts of mob violence.

Furthermore, the inaction and negligence displayed by the police officers on the scene cannot be overlooked. We call for a thorough investigation into their conduct and for appropriate disciplinary actions to be taken against those who failed in their duty to serve and protect.

Madhuben deserves justice, and it's imperative that we ensure such incidents do not recur within our communities. Let us come together to demand that those in power enforce the laws designed to protect every citizen.
