On the 11.11.2022 we were attacked by a pocket American bully dog which was off lead and the owner was 30 yards away, the American bully dog viciously attacked my Lilly without provocation and ripped her to pieces and there was nothing I could do in the fight to save her. 

the dog owner covered his face and ran away leaving us both to try and get home and to the vets to save Lilly, with her skin and hair dragging on the floor from her neck to her rear legs we eventually got to the vets and within an hour she had to be but to sleep. 

later that day I joined  dog groups on Facebook and engaged with people to find the dog owner, the day after I went around businesses and found cctv and ring doorbell evidence and eventually found the area where I thought the dog owner lived. People on Facebook filled in the gaps and I then stalked the area and found the dog owner. 
sadly the journey has led me through the police , dog warden , local cllr’s and local MP , Lord Benyon and many more and they all have seen the pictures of Lilly and none have agreed the dog who did it was dangerous except the Vet who said she hasn’t seen that damage to a dog like this in 20 years practicing. 
My further complaint to the police to charge the dog owner under section 3,2 and anti social charges have case law as Lord Benyon states but nobody has done anything. 
Although the dog owner is legally responsible for the vets fees and other damage from the day after 2 pre court letters sent to his by myself he moved homes and now lives with he girlfriend who’s just had a baby and on social media he says he is gong to be a good father and teach his child to be a good person yet morally he has ignored his responsibilities of being a dog owner and although the dog isn’t supposed to be with him anymore the dog is still dangerous and he has a moral duty to put this right.
