Justice for Laken Riley

Justice for Laken Riley
The Issue
On February 22, 2024 Augusta University nursing student Laken Riley was attacked and killed by an illegal immigrant from Venezuela. Diego Ibarra had a fake green card and attacked the young woman while she was innocently jogging around Lake Herrick. Ibarra was not unknown to the law --- he had previous convictions for shoplifting and another offense the Athens-Clarke County Police department refuses to disclose. His brother Jose is also being held on charges of malice murder.
As Riley was attacked, she tried to call 911. She fought back. Bogus asylum seekers, the Ibarra brothers, fractured her skull.
The University of Georgia community was totally unaware they had an evil criminal like Ibarra in their midst. No signs were posted, nor was there awareness on social media about this man who appears to have targeted Riley. The Venezuelan Embassy has made no comment about their national killing an American woman, nor has the U.S. Border Patrol apologized despite personally meeting with Ibarra in April 2023, nor has the taxpayer funded Homeland Security Investigations apologized for letting this illegal dwell in what should be a safe, happy community.
By signing this petition, you are standing up for the rights of Americans who demand to know who is living in their communities so they can remain safe. By signing this petition, you are sending a message to various taxpayer agencies that they need to DO MORE regarding illegal immigrants. By signing this petition, you are demanding that Ibarra is granted NO BAIL NOR BOND, and he serves the maximum sentence for Riley's murder.
This petition will be delivered to:
Athens-Clarke County Police Chief Jerry Saulters, jerry.saulters@accgov.com
Augusta University Dean of Students Scott T. Wallace, scwallace@augusta.edu
University of Georgia Dean of Students Eric Atkinson, atkinson@uga.edu
The Embassy of Venezuela in Washington, D.C., despacho.embveus@mppre.gob.ve
Athens-Clarke County D.A. Deborah Gonzalez, deborah.gonzalez@accgov.com
Commissioner Troy A. Miller
Homeland Security Investigations Executive Associate Director Katrina Miller
Thank you.
