Thank you to everyone who signed & shared this petition!  The Judge DENIED their motion request on Tues, Sept. 5th. (Yay!)  However, right afterwards, the drivers attorney scheduled a new hearing in 6 months. for Friday, March 15th.  So we are counting this as a small victory in what looks to be a long (and very possibly losing) batttle. 

Please continue to share this story with others. The California Clean Slate Law signed by Gavin Newsom in 2019 (AB 1076), and 2022 (SB 731) makes the expungement and sealing of records possible for non-violent felonies.
