JUSTICE FOR KOHEN WILEY A NATIONAL CALL FOR JUSTICE, TRANSPARENCY & ACCOUNTABILITY
The Issue
On June 14, 2026, 1-year-old Kohen Wiley was fatally shot by a Senatobia, Mississippi police officer during a response to an alleged shoplifting incident at Walmart.
On October 19, 2026, Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch's office announced that the officer's use of deadly force was justified.
That decision has left serious unanswered questions regarding the shooting, the evidence reviewed, and the accountability of those involved.
An innocent child lost his life. His family and the public deserve a full and transparent explanation.
WE, THE UNDERSIGNED, DEMAND:
1. Criminal Charges and Accountability
We demand that the actions of Senatobia Police Sergeant Hunter Foster be independently investigated and that every criminal charge supported by the evidence and applicable law be pursued, including potential homicide or federal civil-rights charges.
No law enforcement officer should be exempt from prosecution when sufficient evidence establishes a criminal offense.
2. An Independent Investigation of Attorney General Lynn Fitch
We demand an independent examination of Attorney General Lynn Fitch's decision to decline prosecution, including the evidence considered, investigative procedures followed, potential conflicts of interest, and the legal justification for clearing the officer.
If that examination establishes misconduct, abuse of authority, deliberate concealment, or serious failure of official responsibility, we demand her resignation and appropriate legal consequences.
3. Full Transparency and Release of Evidence
We demand the lawful release of all relevant body-camera recordings, dashboard-camera footage, Walmart surveillance footage, investigative reports, and available findings necessary to explain the shooting.
We also demand a detailed public explanation of the officer's position, the vehicle's movement, and the alleged imminent threat at the moment deadly force was used.
4. Federal Civil-Rights Review
We request that the United States Department of Justice independently assess the shooting and determine whether any federal civil-rights violations occurred.
5. Accountability for the Investigation
We demand an independent assessment of whether all relevant witnesses were interviewed, all available evidence was collected, and the investigation was conducted thoroughly and impartially.
6. A Written Public Response
We request that the responsible authorities acknowledge this petition within 14 days of receipt and provide a substantive written response identifying the actions they will take.
OUR STAND
We refuse to accept that the death of a child should be met with unanswered questions.
We believe justice requires evidence, transparency, impartial investigation, and equal accountability under the law.
We are calling for lawful, peaceful public action until these concerns are meaningfully addressed.
A BADGE IS NOT IMMUNITY.
PUBLIC OFFICE IS NOT IMMUNITY.
JUSTICE MUST APPLY TO EVERYONE.
For Kohen Wiley. For his family. For every child whose life deserves protection.

By signing, I join the call for an independent investigation, public transparency, and legal accountability for everyone whose actions may have contributed to the death of Kohen Wiley or an improper investigation of his death. #JusticeForKohenWiley #JusticeForKohen #ReleaseTheEvidence #NoOneAboveTheLaw
