$136.8 BILLION/ 86.9 MILLON
THESE ARE ASTRONOMICAL NUMBERS !
$136.8 billion is the dollar amount that Americans spent on their pets in 2022 per Forbes Advisor. This amount is up 10.68% from 2021.
86.9 Million is the number of households in the United States that own pets!! 66% of American households own pets.
These numbers indicate and show how important and how much Americans value their pets.
This also shows the leaders that over half of their potential voter base and constituents own and value their pets. This is a segment of the constituents that should not be ignored.
85% of the dog owners, and 76% of cat owners consider their pets to be a member of the family. Forbes describes pets as “ a VITAL part of their owners’ lives.”
Vital- absolutely necessary or important; essential.
Why are our leaders ignoring and minimizing something that is THAT IMPORTANT and VITAL in well over half of the potential voter base and constituents, and not protecting our animals!!
And they wonder why we are so upset?!
If they don’t want to look at it with a compassionate heart, they can take an analytical approach and look at the statistics and the numbers. It is in the numbers that pets are important to people!!
These numbers are increasing. Pet ownership has”spiked” over the last 35 years.
Pet insurance, once an “obscure” product “ more than doubled in growth from 2018 to 2021.”
If the images of little old ladies sitting around in rocking chairs with little FuFu on their laps, come to mind, you would be incorrect!!
@ 33%, Millennials are the largest group of pet owners, followed by Gen X at 25%.
Drive through the streets of Columbus, and see how many people are walking dogs down the streets of Columbus. Columbus is an animal friendly area.
The leaders want Columbus to be a progressive, trendy city. Pets are shown to be very important in Trendy cities. Visit these and see how many times you will be dining outdoors with dogs at restaurants.
Pet owners, contact the leaders in this area and let them know how vital and important our pets are to us!! Ask them to not to fail one more animal whose protection is vital and important to us whether we own it or not.
PLEASE PROTECT OUR ANIMALS !!

The Prosecutor says, Aspen’s case is closed. There was nothing on Police report about abandoning an animal.
The Prosecutor refuses to meet with Autumn, Aspen’s Owner.
Please contact the prosecutors office and let them know how you feel. Please be respectful.
Aspen has potentially been spotted in trees behind Sams Club. This is the same area where there was another potential sighting earlier of her. So let us pray for that. Autumn has been disappointed many times when there were potential sightings and it wasn’t Aspen, but Autumn pushes on.
The reward has now increased to $700 , Thanks to 2 additional generous donors.
We want to Thank everyone for being so supportive and wonderful, in so many ways, spending their time searching, passing out, flyers, donating flyers, signing the petition, and donating to promote the petition and donating to the reward money. Even your many comments encourage Autumn.
You have all been so incredible!
May we all carry on until we bring Aspen home!!
UNTIL YOU REST SAFE AND SOUND ON THE SOFA ONCE AGAIN LIKE YOU ARE PICTURED ABOVE BABY GIRL!!! ❤️❤️❤️
