The reality of Sista Hanna Drake’s Dissertative Indictment of the Egregious Practices of the United States Government has been my personal living experience from 2018 to date.
My son Jowell Travis Le Gendre was wrongfully accused of a sex crime, wrongfully convicted, abused, tortured and subsequently VIOLENTLY MURDERED while fighting this corrupt system for his innocence.
Currently, I Am, as a “free citizen”, facing the same colluding government officials as I fight for justice for my son.
Incase you didn’t know, this government along with its strongholds and principalities were DESIGNED to do EXACTLY what is being highlighted in the litany of crimes against humanity brought forth in this video! The prison colony called the United States of America is functioning according to plan!
Having this over standing, my passion for “fighting for the underdog” was realized during my High School years as a Founding Member of “Students Against Apartheid” in the mid 80’s.
I have TIRELESSLY advocated, from a frontline position for those who were wronged by US government agencies, specifically mass incarceration, since the early 90’s. Never in a million years would I have anticipated my current circumstances… a mother of a son viciously and cowardly murdered by the same institutional malfeasance … fighting for accountability, justice and restitution for a stolen life. Jowell was a TODDLER when I took up this fight!!!

Jowell was murdered in 2023. I have been attempting to secure a Virginia licensed attorney since then. I have filed complaints with various levels of government providing proof of government evidence tampering and document falsification. A key source of this proof is the collection of personal family photos of Jowell’s SAVAGELY beaten body showing caved in ribs, shoe prints on his torso, pitting edema, blood and distinct abrasion patterns to the left side of his face and a MARKED puncture wound to his left temple in the shape of a large prison key. These photos DIRECTLY CONTRADICT the VADOC Press Release falsely stating Jowell fell from a prison bunk bed and the Roanoke Chief Medical Examiner listing Manual Strangulation as the cause of death on Jowell’s Death Certificate.
I have filed a formal complaint with the Virginia State Bar against a Master Deputy Clerk for mailing forged copies of a Certificate of Administration via the United States Postal Service to my mailing address on file while circumnavigating the official documents to an address that was not listed on my application. This Clerk was subsequently PROMOTED to the position of a local Bar Association President in late 2024, putting her in the HIGHEST oversight position to attorneys I have solicited!
Also a matter of fact, specific police officers, detectives, and attorneys who participated in my son’s wrongful arrest/ conviction, VADOC personnel and Special Agents who took part in the cover up of Jowell’s murder, have all been promoted as well.
Local attorneys have banded together in a professional “stand down” refusing to take my case. I have been fighting TWO civil suits simultaneously as a pro se litigant (without an attorney)… one in State Court the other in Federal Court. Both cases have been successfully filed in their respective Courts of Appeal. My State Appeal is currently in jeopardy of being thrown out on a technicality.
The Virginia Office of the Attorney General has been allowed to use an antiquated law to stifle my attempts at enforcing lawfully served subpoenas to obtain evidentiary discovery. Discovery that will show EXACTLY what happened to my son and ALL WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE for his murder!
This discovery includes bodycam footage, audio and video surveillance footage, investigation reports, institutional interview transcripts, medical records, phone records, email records, Duty Rosters, a tour of the facility where my son was murdered and my son’s autopsy reports.
!!!I WANT TO SEE IT ALL!!!
YES!!! The 3 year anniversary of Jowell’s murder is SEVENTEEN DAYS away and I have NOT seen my child’s autopsy reports!!!!!
The Virginia Court of Appeals has granted an extension deadline for me to secure a Virginia licensed attorney. They must sign and resubmit my already filed and accepted Notice of Appeal and Opening Brief by Wednesday, August 19, 2026… FIVE DAYS BEFORE the 3rd anniversary of Jowell’s murder… or my State case will be dismissed on a technicality!!!
