JUSTICE FOR JASMINE🕊️A cherished soul lost to domestic voilence. Her dreams shattered 💔
The Issue
Justice for Jasmine— Her Life Mattered. Her Voice Must Not Be Forgotten.
Jasmine was only 30 years old.
September 30, 2026: Jasmine was last seen at her residence in Sacramento, California.
October 1, 2026: Human remains were discovered in El Dorado County. Authorities later confirmed that the remains belonged to Jasmine.
October 4, 2026: Jasmine’s cousin reported her missing, prompting an investigation into her disappearance.
During the investigation, authorities reported that Jasmine’s husband had claimed she was taken by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Investigators contacted ICE, which confirmed that no enforcement activity had taken place at the residence. Detectives subsequently identified inconsistencies in his statements.
October 14, 2026: Jasmine’s husband was arrested in connection with her death and booked on a murder charge.
October 16, 2026: The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office publicly announced the arrest and the developments in the investigation.
She was a daughter, a mother, a sister, a friend, and a hope for many. She was someone whose life touched others, someone with a future still ahead of her, and a mother whose 8-month-old baby deserved to grow up with her love.
Today, her family is left with heartbreak, her friends are left with memories, and her little child faces a future without his mother.
Jasmine’s life was more than a headline. She was a human being who mattered deeply to the people around her. She deserved to live, to love, to dream, and to watch her child grow.
We demand justice for Jasmine.
We call on the responsible authorities in Sacramento, California, to thoroughly investigate her death, pursue appropriate legal action based on the evidence, and ensure accountability through a fair judicial process.
We ask that Jasmine’s family receive appropriate information, compassion, and support as they navigate this devastating loss.
We stand for her baby’s future.
Jasmine’s 8-month-old baby has already lost something irreplaceable: the chance to grow up with his mother’s daily presence and care.
His maternal family in India wants to provide him with love, stability, and a connection to the family his mother came from. We ask Sacramento County child-welfare authorities to fairly assess their request and explain the lawful steps for seeking international family placement, always putting the child’s best interests first.
We ask the community to stand with Jasmine.
A life lost to violence leaves pain that cannot be measured. No petition can bring Jasmine back, but our voices can help keep attention on her case, support her family, and call for justice.
She was a daughter.
She was a mother.
She was a sister.
She was a friend.
She was hope for many.
She was Jasmine. She mattered. Her life mattered. And her family deserves answers.
