* Settlement Check: Delivered on November 7th, 2022.

 * Durable Power of Attorney (POA): Obtained by Bonnie on November 16th, 2022.

 * Initial Actions: Bonnie deposited the $3.5 million check into Billy's account on November 8th, before she had POA. She concealed this information from Billy for at least two months, falsely claiming the bank would not accept the check.

 * Financial Misuse:

   * On November 16th, immediately after obtaining the POA, Bonnie began spending and transferring money from Billy's account.

   * A debit card for Billy's account was obtained for herself and another was given to Eric. Billy has only ever used an ATM withdrawal card, which was given to him by Bonnie.

   * All debit card purchases, transfers, and checks were initiated and executed by Bonnie without Billy's knowledge or authorization.

 * Significant Financial Transfers:

   * Bonnie transferred several large sums of money into accounts in her name only.

   * A $1.5 million check designated "FBO Billy Wayne Hope III" was altered by Bonnie, who wrote her name underneath and cashed it to fund a solely owned annuity account for herself.

 * Beneficiaries of Misappropriated Funds:

   * Eric Hope paid off his house, cars, and truck, and is retired in his 30s with substantial funds.

   * Bonnie is using the money to fix up her property in Austin and to build a bar for Eric.

 * Impact on Billy:

   * Billy receives a weekly transfer of $1,000 from the Douglas Foundation, Bonnie's employer. This is expected to cover all of his bills and medical appointments.

   * He is being denied access to his own investments and financial decisions.

 * Housing and Legal Status:

   * Bonnie purchased a house for $586,000 with Billy's money, but titled it only to herself. She had the first check to the title company less than two weeks after the settlement check was received, indicating a pre-meditated plan to spend the money.
