On 21st June 2025, my healthy 11-month-old cat, Gulli, lost her life during a routine neuter surgery at Healwell Pet Clinic, shop no. LG 31 pansheel greens 2, greater noida Uttar Pradesh.. under the supervision of Dr. Ramesh Kumar Jha.

She walked into that clinic full of life, but I never got her back.

There was no emergency communication, no updates during the procedure, and no accountability when things went wrong. I was told to go home and that it was a "simple" procedure. Hours later, I was handed her lifeless body. No explanation. No responsibility. Just silence.

I demand answers. I demand justice.

This isn’t just about my Gulli. It’s about every pet and every pet parent who trusts vets with their fur babies, expecting care—not negligence.

We are petitioning the Veterinary Council of India to:

1.Suspend Dr. Ramesh Kumar Jha's veterinary license pending investigation

2.Inspect and regulate the practices of Healwell Pet Clinic

3.Implement stronger safety, consent, and transparency protocols in pet clinics

4.Make post-surgery emergency care mandatory and regulated

Gulli was not “just a cat.” She was family. And she deserved to live.
