The Students for Palestine Coalition is appalled to learn about Swarthmore’s constant lack of transparency in issues concerning the campus community members. Recently, the school has jeopardized the livelihood of three Environmental Services workers by firing them without adequate explanation or advance notice.

1. Reinstate George, Genevieve, and the other fired EVS techs

2. Require just cause for employee termination

3. Commit to ensuring EVS techs receive adequate tools and supplies

4. Ensure a minimum amount of EVS techs are employed to prevent overwork  

5. Pay EVS a living wage
