Today is June 15 — also Father’s Day in the U.S. It’s the day my mother died in 2019. She was diagnosed with stage four cancer just two days before Mother’s Day and passed away one month later on Father's Day.

I will always believe DES caused her extremely rare gallbladder cancer — an illness that kills fewer than 5,000 Americans each year..
