A shocking robbery has taken place at a revered Jain religious place in Dahigaon, Maharashtra (श्री १००८ महावीर स्वामी दिगंबर जैन अतिशय क्षेत्र संस्थान, दहिगाव, तालुका माळशिरस, जिल्हा सोलापूर, महाराष्ट्र - ४१३१२२). Such an incident is not merely a theft—it deeply hurts the faith, sentiments, and sense of security of the Jain community and every citizen who believes that places of worship must remain safe.
Religious places are symbols of peace, devotion, and harmony. Criminal acts committed within them cannot be ignored or treated as ordinary offences. The community expects a prompt, transparent, and professional investigation.
We respectfully urge the concerned authorities to act immediately and ensure that this matter receives the highest priority.
Our Demands
1. Conduct a fast, fair, and transparent investigation into the robbery.
2. Arrest all individuals responsible and ensure they are prosecuted according to law.
3. Deploy special investigation teams if necessary to speed up the investigation.
4. Increase police patrolling and surveillance around religious places in the region.
5. Install or support CCTV surveillance and other security measures at vulnerable places of worship.
6. Keep the public informed about major progress in the investigation to maintain trust.
7. Ensure that similar incidents do not recur through improved preventive security measures.
Why This Matters
If criminals are allowed to target places of worship without swift action, it creates fear among devotees and undermines public confidence in law enforcement.
Every citizen, regardless of religion, deserves the assurance that sacred places are protected.
