🏆 WE DID IT — 2,503 SIGNATURES 🏆

When I woke up on April 6th I had no idea what to do next. Today I can tell you exactly what happens next.
Tomorrow Chase’s mom Tracy and I will be walking SR 163 together — the road that took her son — and hand delivering your 2,502 signatures directly to State Representative Tim Yocum. Because of every single one of you, this petition cannot be ignored.
This campaign has been nothing short of remarkable. The Tribune Star picked up our story first. Local news outlets followed, shining a light on who Chase truly was — a linebacker, a baseball outfielder, an All-Wabash River Conference golfer, and one of the most remarkable kids any of us ever knew. Tracy’s voice has been heard. Chase’s story has been told the right way.
We are closing the petition today — not because the fight is over — but because it is time to take these signatures from a screen and put them in the hands of the people who can act on them.
Our next steps:
📅 Parke County Commissioners Meeting
Monday May 18, 2026
Parke County Courthouse — 116 W High St, Room 104, Rockville, IN 47872
📅 Vermillion County Commissioners Meeting
Tuesday June 2, 2026
Vermillion County Courthouse — 255 S Main St, Newport, IN
These are PUBLIC meetings. You are welcome to show up and stand with us. The more faces in that room the better.
🎯 Our goal: Get guardrail installation on INDOT’s July 1 fiscal year budget.
This fight has not stopped. It has merely just begun.
For Chase. For Tracy. For every child who drives that road.
It took his life to save the lives of others. 💙
