Hello Everyone, Thanks so much for your support within the past three weeks to help bring justice for Cecil the lion. As you all saw, last week the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) responded to our petition and has proposed that the African lion be added to the Endangered Species Act. While a decision is not expected for a few months, the fact that USFWS responded to our call is a huge deal and shows that our voices are being heard! In their response, USFWS asks us to engage on this issue on their Facebook and Twitter pages, so let’s do exactly that.
